KIGAL, Rwanda, December  11, 2018/ — Rwanda Rugby Federation (RRF) (www.RwandaRugby.com) The  Rwanda Rugby national league 15 aside for the 2019 season will get under way on Saturday, according to the Rwanda Rugby Federation (RRF).

The league will kick off with last season’s  National League winner Kigali sharks against Lion de fer , Thousand hills vs Remera Buffalloes taking on Red cross ground in kacyiru Kigali. while the day’s other game will be the Southern Province derby between Resilience vs Puma kamonyi and UR grizillies vs Muhanga thunder which will be played on sunday.

Umuhire victorein, the captain of Nyamirambo-based Lion de Fer, said they are prepared for the 2019 season in the league.

“All the boys have been training for the last two months, we have some new additions and we are ready not only for the league opener but for the entire season,” Umuhire said.

According to RRF president, Tharcise Kamanda  insisted that “The rugby body – and the league – have to run in a professional manner if the sport is to develop. All players should be registered in the new digital system so that they can assess their profiles and transfer information whenever one changes his team.”

The league games in Kigali will be taking place to Red cross kacyiru in kigali and in south matchs will taking place to the home ground of the hosting team.
